Cookie Policy

Short version: this site sets zero cookies right now. Here's the detail, and what happens the day that changes.

Last updated: 24 September 2026

The short version: this website does not set a single cookie today — no analytics, no advertising, no tracking. This page exists so that's a documented, checkable fact rather than an assumption, and so there's already a clear place to update the moment that changes.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website can ask your browser to store, usually to remember who you are between page views or to track behaviour across a site or the web. Some websites also use similar technologies — local storage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts — for the same ends; where we say "cookies" in this policy, we mean all of these.

Cookies this website uses today

NamePurposeDurationType
None. This site currently sets no cookies of any kind.

The small interactive touches on this site — the mobile menu, the FAQ accordion, the scroll-in animations — all run entirely in your browser's memory for that one page view. Nothing is written to your device, and nothing persists once you close the tab.

Why we don't need a cookie banner (yet)

Under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), you only need to ask for consent before setting cookies that aren't strictly necessary for the site to function — typically analytics, advertising, and personalisation cookies. Because we currently use none of those, we haven't added a cookie-consent banner: showing one for a site that sets no cookies would just be noise, and could itself be misleading.

What happens if that changes

The moment we add anything that sets a non-essential cookie — most likely a privacy-respecting analytics tool, to understand which pages are useful — we will:

  • Add a clear consent banner, blocking that cookie until you say yes
  • List the specific cookie(s), their purpose, and how long they last in the table above
  • Update the "last updated" date at the top of this page

We will never quietly start setting cookies without updating this page first.

Managing cookies in your browser

Even though this site doesn't need it today, every modern browser lets you see, block, or delete cookies set by any website — usually under Settings → Privacy (the exact wording varies between Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Blocking all cookies everywhere may affect how other websites you visit behave.
